Official SeaWorld Orlando Discussion Thread

Post by hmich176 on 2012-01-11, 19:25

I thought this would be cool to have for anyone who has visited SeaWorld Orlando or is interested in going there.

I went last week and it was nice. Rode both Manta and Kraken, saw the Sea Lion and Otter show, saw Shamu's show (naturally) and checked out Shark Encounter.

Kraken is my favorite floorless coaster to date, beating out Great Adventure's Bizarro and Dorney's Hydra the Revenge. Manta was an awesome ride, and much improved over Great Adventure's Superman - Ultimate Flight (which there's no place to go than up from that iteration of a flyer).

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the park. It felt more like a resort than an amusement park/zoo/aquarium. It's definitely worth the visit.
