Dorney park Opening Day 2012

Hello Everyone!
I'm new here but I went to Dorney Park's opening day for 2012 so here is a quick trip over their roller coaster a look around the park. Lets go!!!!


Stinger Looked great


Here's the confetti when they opened the ride up the new ride I took some home with me as a keep safe

Took this one in the line station picture I have to do on another day was kinda rushed to get in the line ether way its kinda neat

Here is how the new redone seat look for everyone who knew or been on invertigo.

Uh oh!!! After 3 runs I'm stuck in the seat for Five minutes and they shut the ride down

Now before I go to the rest of the picture I have to say I think I cause it to close as I notice that one of the wires to sensor was cut and was hanging below the track and was so low I could reach from my seat I informed someone about this and after I was unstuck from the ride was promptly closed.

Now back to stinger pictures YAY!!

One more good pic for measure you can see how well they they did the entrance but I think its not large enough for the week ends but we shall see.

Now I'm sorry for my finger in the way but I'm still getting use to the camera but it seems Thunderhawk is undergoing some rehab I keep looking into this in future trips

Now to Steel Force A classic Morgan Ride and still my favorite ride

Dorney park as you notice has now a fast lane in the park unlimited use and about 35 per person

Here is Steel Force's new fast lane which means I have to walk more in the lines UGH!

After getting off Steel Force we noticed Stinger had a cadge under the track so I guess it was pretty serious.

After that I'm went to my new favorite Voodoo oops i mean Possessed... *Note they have completely redid all the cars on the ride to the new version so all the old cars are gone now.


Took this one leaving but I need to state that Talon was repainted completely It look brand new however I did notice two are three support were not painted.

Now I went to the gift shop to get some cheap stuff couldn't find any so I look for stinger gear and found these.....

And shot glasses

Last picture in the park had to go home to get ready for work

Last pic I did notice she was working when we left around noon so I home it was operating for everyone else.

Other mentions while i was their Hydra was working too just didn't get any pics of I'll do it later in the year.Th arcade got some new games and price is still expensive food is gone kinda the same but I would just bring food no one checks your bag anyway only during Halloween security is tight. Another mention is I went to Dinosaurs Alive but did not get out the camera again so ill get some later in the year. Other than that it was pretty empty till noon then its start filling up. So that's it if anybody has any questions about the park I will be happy to answer them.

Welcome to the site and nice pics! I also have a bunch coming as I was also there for the opening of Stinger and was one of the first riders. Will have mine coming up later today.

By the way, what were you wearing because I may have seen you.

Were you one of the first riders or public riders? After seeing that pic, I'm almost certain I may have seen you.

To answer HPCAZY question yes public and was 3rd train through.

Yes it was very empty just like the summer on a Wednesday or Thursday
