The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
According to Screamscape some B&M Wing Rider tracks have been found at the B&M plant in Ohio Click this link for more information.
Any thoughts on where this park is headed to? My thoughts are a Cedar Fair park

Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
^SFMM already has X2 and great adventure already has a green coaster (green lantern but you never know...). I feel like it would be a good addition at many cedar fair parks (Cedar Point (they've been rumored for a new B&M for a while), Kings Island (hasn't gotten a new coaster since 09 and a wing rider would compliment their collection nicely), and Knotts has been due for a coaster for a while. It could also be going over seas...
Only time will tell.

Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
I'm going with Cedar Point.... they have basically every type of coaster and this would keep them at that status. Plus they haven't gotten a new coaster in 5 years....
Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
My guesses are Cedar Point as well or another CF park... The only thing any CF park has gotten is a Windseeker or AT MINIMUM one new coaster... I say it's time a CF park gets this Wing Rider, and I think it will go to Cedar Point... it'll give the CP and SFMM fans something to argue about next year

Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
i DOUBT SFMM will get it because:
-we already have x2 which is like an upgraded wing!
-Wing seem like floorless without the track under you, and we have Scream
-If there is no launch coaster, it would be a pretty dumb decision by SFI

Most people are going with CP, but now that you said SFGAdv, I'm having second thoughts....

Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
That's what I have heard for sfga.. And it also fits up with the other rumor that I herd, that Bizarro might be replaced with a winged coaster... Also sense X-Flight will bea sucess I think six flags will want more of them at more of there parks.
Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
So, I've been discussing this with some other Theme Park Enthusiasts: I think it's pretty funny SF parks are getting The Rocky Mountain Treatment for their wooden coasters and that CF parks are getting pretty much giga's, hyper's, etc. but could SF or CF be going on to Wing Riders (after most of the planned wooden coasters to get the Iron Horse treatment at SF parks are done being treated with)?

Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
Since coasters seem to come in muti-installation deals, I do think SFGA is a possibility, given SFGam is getting one.
I also think that CP is a strong possibility as well, while Screamscape seems to be leading to it being for CP. Given Raptor was one of B&M's first inverted and a record breaker as well, I continue to believe it's for CP. The timing is similar, and CP def needs something for 2013. I also think it's not worth the time trying to worry about color. It is what it is. Green could fit in either CP or SFGA - and both are due for a major installation.
I just love the speculation and watching from afar. I think it's safe to say that 2013 is going to be a great year like 2012 at this point.

Yes, I am happy we already have 2013 coasters to speculate on. But for what park now, it is too early. I am sure we will kniw more info soon.
Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
It is great we now have some coasters to speculate on for 2013 and think here in the US we can narrow it down to three parks: SFMM, SFGA, and CP. I'm sure within the next few months we'll start seeing markings within the parks once they open, and can not wait.

Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
well CP is a definite possibility considering they haven't even put a wing rider into the system yet. And why not debut it at Cedar Point, their showcase park that is also due for a coaster

Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
Great pics, thanks for sharing. Is it safe to assume there are at least 93 pieces of track for this coaster? I understand it's early due to proximity for this to be the CP coaster, but we don't know the plants production schedule. Some parks don't have the storage space and use parking lots, so I would rule out CP yet, since they've received track the summer before in the past.

Could be for KI too. Diamondback was their last coaster and that was in 2009, the year I rode it.

Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
I highly think this is going to either one of these three parks:
Six Flags Great Adventure
Cedar Point or
Kings Island
If people think CP can't make room... they're wrong. Cedar Point has at least SIX Spaces to make room for a new coaster.... Just look at this:
I've also heard rumors since September that there's a slight chance Calypso and The Turnpike Cars would be either removed/relocated to make room for some "space"
As for Kings Island, they could really use this. It would put them on the Map again for coaster enthusiasts (not saying they're not a good park).
And SFGAdv may also use this since Bizarro is rumored to leave by 2013... But they could also make room, like CP may do...
But this is just me...

Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
I agree all three parks should get a coaster in 2013 or 2014 and all three have plenty of room. I would think KI would address SoB before investing $20m on a new steel coaster. I thought SFGA was going to add a drop ride onto KK like SFMM is currently doing. My guess is CP will get a wing rider in 2013, and we'll see a new coaster at SFGA in 2014. My $.02 for what it's worth.

Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
Yeah Cedar Point just seems very probable considering they have not added a coaster in five years and have almost every kind of coaster except a wing rider. It could add to their collection.
Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
I agree Cedar Point is over due for a coaster and do have a great variety. They are missing more than a few different types, and think a wing rider is a safe bet for them. I also think it will be the worlds largest, which is what they did when the inverted coaster came out and they installed Raptor.

Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
^^^Yup, and considering they did not install a floorless this is just two generations ahead. I don't mean every coaster, but they have an awesome variety. If they invest in this imo they were very smart because they did not invest in a floorless, which feel not much different from a suspended or stand up. A wing is a completely new experience.
Re: The Mysterious B&M Green Wing Rider tack
I agree that CP has been made some great coaster choices in the past and suspect that will continue. They passed on floorless and drop coasters, which are concepts I never "got". I would like to see a plug n play woodie, and don't understand why they never took off given the popularity of El Torro.
